Rafting Sava Bohinjka

All you need to know about rafting in Bled.

A wild and beautiful alpine river, the Sava Bohinjka, together with her twin sister, the Sava Dolinka, forms the longest of Slovenia’s rivers, called the Sava.

Originating from Bohinj Lake, it carves its way through the mountains, creating a steep valley dressed in pristine forests, and offering a variety of class II to class IV rapids (easy to advanced). Come and joins us on this beautiful rafting trip, full of adrenaline. It is not suitable for non-swimmers or kids under the age of 15.

All of our guides running trips on this river are highly experienced and certified in swift water rescue. Due to low water levels in the summer, the Sava Bohinjka can only be run in spring months of April and May (and possibly in June if the water conditions allow it). All the necessary equipment, and pickups and return transport to/from Bled are included in the price. You only need to bring a towel and a swimsuit. The whole trip takes around 2-2.5 hours, with 1-1.5 hours of rafting time.
